You and Your Friends

In everyday life, we meet hundreds of people. Some come with common grounds, and others arrive with an entirely different background. We do tend to choose who we stay with and who we leave. It gets harder every time we have a choice.  These decisions can make us or break us.

People affect us in every possible way. They can change us both negatively and positively. What is quite evident is that whoever we choose to stay with determining the rest of our life.  They can easily shape our future and mold it in whatever way possible to them. It is hard or probably impossible to read the future. We can only judge our past and present which can help us shape our future.

I believe our future is ten times how our present is looking like. Choosing the right future starts with the right present.

I often stumble across people who don’t know what they want from their lives.  They seem clueless and helpless. And all of a sudden, you witness them take an entirely different turning point in which they become more aware and conscious of what their future may bring.  When I take a closer look, I find them making new friends and connections with those who know clearly what they aspire toward.

Simply put, we can not reach our dreams if we stay close to those who don’t have one.  We can not reach great heights if those we know only look down their feet.  We can not be sophisticated enough if we only stay with those shallow minded. It is those who we keep their company who influence us the most.

It’s no magic, but the people we tend to stay with determining the way our life and future may bring to us. It’s so important that we carefully take the time to choose who we keep in our circles and who we stay away of.
